Hello, I suppose its too soon to compare the GS to such a new scope but I figured I would anyway. I was planing on buy a 3-9x40 GS for my .270 but the new Browning has me thinking. I read in one forum about how the new Browning was a 3200 powered 4200 and I also know most people regard the 4200 optics above the GS but $80 bucks is $80 bucks. So if I could get the 4200 optics for the same money as the GS why wouldn't I or why shouldn't I.  Thanks for all the confusion. Anyone have any thoughts?

P.S. Many thanks to S.W.F.A. for such a great place to has things out!

I don't know about the 4200 but the Weaver GS 50mm beats my Leupold Vari-X-III 50mm's, and I know that the 3200 is not as good as the Leupold...........all concerning light transmission at near dark of course.
