The Grand Slam gets great reviews for its optics and adjustements, but I can't get over the large power ring adjustment.  Does anyone think the large power ring adjustment looks strange?

It's great with gloves on. I myself like the appearance of the weaver, it's unique looking.

I have to agree with TwoLaneBlackTop   I think the Weaver is unique looking and agree that the oversized power ring is very helpful with gloves on.  I also like the look of the overall shape of the scope with a real flat front objective and the green inside ring to me looks very cool.

Now I love my Pentax scope, but they are ugly,  looks like a large mag-light but I wouldn't trade it for the world.

I agree the look is different and has something going for it. Can really see how the large power ring can come in handy.

I am with you Wiley.  I think the specs and price look great, but I cannot get over the looks.  Gloves are not a big concern where I hunt, so I had to keep on looking.

I am not crazy about the power ring.  But, so many people raved about the scope on this site that I had to give it another look.  I have to say that it is an extremely good scope and for the money, I could overlook the power ring.
