Anybody have any experiences with the Weaver Classic Extreme illuminated 2.5-10X50?  It sounded like it was too good to pass up on so I ordered one for my Encore 300 WM.

No need to edit your post.  The forum software automatically changed the text in the link to "competitor," which disabled it.

No harm, friend.  Please read through the forum rules and you're good to go.  Welcome to OT!

It seemed like an OK scope, but I only looked at it briefly.

I would encourage anyone to view the sight picture of this scope in dim light.  To my eyes it is some of the best optics to come out of Japan.

I've got one coming that is supposed to be delivered tomorrow. I opted for the 2.5-10x56, for optimal light transmission. Plan on putting it on my 22-250.

I'll take a gander through it in the next couple of days, and report back.

I ordered one and I should have my paws on it by the 29th.  I intend on putting it on a TC Icon 300 WM for whitetail, but if I don't like it, I will replace it with a 3-12 Monarch.

I received my Weaver Classic Extreme today.  I am very impressed with the glass.  The scope is a little heavy, but appears to be built like a tank.  I am going to mount it on the 300 WM and I will report back.  I have compared it to a Nikon Monarch 3.5-10X50 and it appears that the glass is as good if not better than the Monarch.

I got mine Wednesday, and mounted it on my .22-250 Thursday night, but I haven't had time to fool with it, since deer season is winding down here. I'll be able to report more later, but it definitely gives a good first impression.
