I'm looking in to a Zeiss 4X Conquest and was wondering if this is a long running scope model.
Opinions on scope?

Thanks

The 4x "Connie" is a sweet heart. I'm not sure how long it was out, but if you got a line on one, I'd take it.

I have one. It's a wonderful scope! There were 2 versions of it: a centerfire model that was parallax adjusted to 100 yds, and a rim fire version parallax adjusted to 50 yds. Other than that, same scope. If you find one and are interested in a fixed 4x scope, I'd buy it. They are hard to find, and you won't find a better 4x scope for the money, or even twice the money it cost.

I've looked for one for years with no luck.  Plus, I would trust those guys steer me right.  They've done it in the past, and they know more about optics than most folks.

I have a Conquest 4x on my Ruger #1 .458 Lott.  Great scope for that rifle.  My favorite rifle/scope combo... I'm going to shoot it this weekend.  I think I got the last one SWFA had.

Deal is done the scope is on its way soon.

A big departure for me.  I'm a loyal Leupold customer due to a great warranty shop just a few miles away.  You guys on here are always touting the benefits of glass and better technology.  I realize that the Conquest 4X32 isn't one of their top grade lines but everyone on the net raves about their Conquest 4X32.  It is going on a CZ527 lefty American with the new bolt handle for low mounting.

Thanks to everyone here for your patience with my goofy questions.

Scope arrived, the Conquest 4X is a real dandy scope.  Image is clear, crisp and bright.  Thanks for the advice.

Good deal. If you ever want to part with it, bring it over here and it will be gone in a matter of min.
