For those of you that have used these, how did you go about mounting these?  They sure aren't as easy as the horizontal rings that you can just lay your scope into and then put the top half on and tighten everything up.

Tip, give Koshkin a shout in a PM. He's done several Warne set ups and I'm sure he can help you.

I guess I figured it out, but whew....... they're a pain!  I bought the Warne wrench too... its a torgue wrench and set to Warne specs, so now I know I have the right amount of tightness.

Actually they're pretty simple to mount.  Loosely mount the rings on the scope and then to the base on the rifle.  I've done many hundreds of Warne mounts.

I tried that and every time that little bar on the bottom falls out Loco.  I figured out that it was easiest to put one side with the bar in the mount...then add the scope then put the other side on and loosely tighten.  Then do the same for the second ring.  Lightly tighten and position the scope and then tighten everything up.

Now that you figured it out, you'll do the next set in 1/4 of the time. I have also mounted the in that manner. Now you should take them off and do it againSuper

I did two, both the exact same set up..... Weaver bases with the "low" Warne rings on Savage Model 11s...... one in .22-250 and one in .204.
