I bought a Nikon Monarch 1x4 20 for my new Ruger 77 black Alaskan in .375 Ruger, and have mounted it using Warne Quick Release rings.  It wasn't easy getting things lined up, especially with the disks that fit in the mount slots falling out.  Afraid I did a few scratches in the process.

My question now is, What do I do about the disks falling out when I use the quick release and remove the scope, possibly in the field where they would be lost?  My options seem to be 1) use some glue product to lock it in place, hoping the shocks scopes are heir to won't kick them loose, 2) try to reuse the scope in the field without the missing disks, 3) just be always careful to pocket the little pieces with the scope off, assuming the DG is not in a hurry.

Any suggestions appreciated.

I don't think the glue would end up holding after the recoil from that round a few times, IMO  I haven't used the Warne QR so I could not tell you from experience but I am fairly confident that the glue would deteriorate quickly

I have Warne QD's on a Ruger #1. I had the same concerns but the key is held be the screws on the split ring and not the floating clamp on the lever side. Once you have everything tightened down you should be okay.
