what do you think of a vxii 2-7 x33 wduplex or bushnell 3-9x40 firefly
will be on a new prohunter 50cal ml- woods and crop fields (150yds) and under
thanks for help-like the site alot- western ky icestrom hit so haven't been able
to look at web for 10 days -wife said I was getting shakes??(what does she know)

I'd go with the Bushnell Elite, either the 4200 or the 3200 if your budget won't allow...

  First off,I'm glad things are coming along out there for y'all. I got friends who work for our local power company and tree company who are out there.
  As far a scopes go. Out of the two you mentioned,I'd go with the Bushnell with or without the Firefly as it costs less and has comparable optics. BUT if I were you I'd consider this:
 
  With this,in my opinion, your jumping up into a better class of scope.  Rivaling the VXIII,Monarch,and Conquest.

I think the VXII or Bushnell 3200 would be great on a muzzle loader.  At a 150yds you don't require the expensive optics and these two would be a fine choice.

 Yea lt,but the 4200 is a bit less than the VXII. If he wants to save $100 though he'd lose nothing by going with the 3200.
