Placed my vote.  Wow - approx. 75% of nearly 100,000 who voted (at the time I placed my vote) say NO to more gun control.  That's encouraging, and more than a little surprising to me!

but i would like to see a poll like this done in the house and senate

they don't really poll the people too well when they are drawing up laws and bills.

sad to say.

More laws will only be heard and abided by honest people. Criminals will pay no mind to the laws that were made and passed due to criminals. I wish the people calling the shots had enogh common sense to see that we do not need more gun laws. More guns laws will result in another futile effort to control criminals. To control criminals you have to use extreme force and let them know there will be no mercy and then we will see things change for the better of all. Public hangings at the courthouse square for all to come see would be a great detterent for criminals just like our forefathers used to do.

Gun control laws are to be put in place to make a disfunctional government appear as it was doing its job....A disfunctional government would disarm its people to make its job so much easier....Disarm the people and at the same time spend "trillions on future weapons"...Here we go..!!!!!

THE ISSUE IS, THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT ALLOW US TO CONTROL GUNS OR OURSELVES...WHAT AN EASY HURDLE TO OVER COME AFTER WE HAVE BEEN DISARMED....the constatution was written to defend us against a corrupted government, why do you think they are so interested in "REWRITING IT"........

Narrowgap is exactly correct.  And these hangings should be carried out swiftly and on TV, so everyone, specifically the criminals, can see what happens when you break the law to the extent that, this is you punishment.
