Just got my first Vortex product and can say I'm really happy with these. Did some comparing against my other binoculars, the 7x42 Swarovski's  and the 10x43 ed'2s and found they gave up nothing to the other glass. imo   the nice part , you can find them on clearance for $300-$350 marked down from $500-$550. Also would like to thank the O.T. members who recommended this binocular as great glassSmile

A member here lent me his Viper 6x32's last year and I did a similar comparison with my Swaro SLCnew 7x42's but failed miserably to post the results. They definitely rival the Swaro's in almost every category and the price is amazing.  Excellent

Due to a money situation in the last week I couldn't control I missed out on getting the 6x32 Viper.  All the research I did on binocs in that price range showed that Viper to #1. I'm GLAD for ya coyote.

I'd really like a 6x binocular for bow hunting and the viper would be excellent in heavy timber.  I applaud vortex for taking a chance on a 6x binocular, it is probably just as useful as the  exceedingly popular 10x configuration.  I guess it's human nature that suggests that bigger is better.

It is, especially if you have a spotter to back it up. I tested it at camp along with 7x and 10x bino's looking at stuff up to 1,300 yards. The FOV was great and having the spotter as backup made 'em even better.
