Never seen one in person, the models I have seen on catolog seem to be of lower to lower mid end in quality, a Razor series would be interesting.

I just ran across them online,  I am looking for a scope to put on my TC Omega.  Put a crap bushnell on it last year so I could hunt.  But  I am thinking Burris now.  I just saw the vortex and the price seems to say its not as crappy as the Banner Bushnell I have, but its hard to beat a Burris 3 X.  Any other suggestions?

Yeah it was just kind of a moment in my life when I wasn't thinking, and a waste of some money.  But I have seen the light and appreciate your help.

Well to be honest I think  I am leaning toward a Ziess at the moment.  The Conquest 3X9 looks like top of the line scope and if I am planning on spending the money on a burris, may as well buck up and by something I will never have to replace.

I'd seriously consider a vortex viper series. Talk to them and see if there are any options of a try before you buy. They can probably recommend a retailer to purchase from. My only experience with vortex is with their razor series binoculars but they are QUITE good. Just think...you could be the first on OT to write a review of a vortex scope .

Now, for the money, at the low end of the price spectrum and for those on a strict budget, the Banner is not a bad scope.  What other scope would you buy for that much money and get the same quality?  I could name a few, but I will leave it up to y'all to come up with some.

Thanks for the help and websites,  I broke down lastnight and bought the Zeiss.  Vortex looks like a well made scope.  But a Zeiss, well thats what dreams are made of.

Your right about the banner and the money.  Mine wasn't of such good qaulity, but it served its purpose.  My problem was I own a Zeiss 3X9 by 36 or 88, I cannot remember, and once you have looked at a target through it, and then try and go back to lesser qaulity scope, you have been spoiled and don't want to have to ever go back.
