Where are vortex scopes made, with what glass, and assembled by whom? Probably a dumb question, but I don't recall seeing this info. Of course there seems to be a lot of things I don't recall these days.  Thanks,,,, Gary

Thanks stickbow46, The vortex products are rated very high, as well as the swfa website. I just had not seen this info anywhere before. I'm not in the market for a scope right now, but in the future I probably will be.   Thanks again, I am enjoying the forum, and learning more than I can remember :),,,,Gary

Vipers are made in the Phillipines, not Japan.

Illya you are correct & I guess Sandy may have thought I was talking about the hst.It does say Phillipines on my original Vortex 6.5-20.I was also under the impression that the Diamondbacks were all made in China!

I only quoted what Sandy told me Embarrased
