I don't think you had anything to apologize about personally. Some people do have agenda's, and you're not one of them. Hope you get to feeling better soon.

Don't worry Klamatk. I was only inserting a sense that the content was starting to head into dangerous territory. Moderation Alert is back in normal operating parameters.
Carry on gentlemen.

Well, thanks for the well wishes. Had a badly swollen, infected, and packed full of stones Gall Bladder removed. I had a medication conflict which seems to be resolved. Feeling pretty normal today, so I'll be able to start doing some things. Feels better with the blasted thing gone.
Funny, I seemed to have missed the Spammers. Not that I feel I missed anything.

That's because the membership here is quick to report them to the moderators. We take care of them just as soon as we can. WE DESPISE THEM. They trash up our forum. I think it's the most disrespectful means of advertising there is. Someone is paying for the forum, and you have some piece of crap take abusive advantage of that? If I could I'd hang them from their nipples and let everyone watch it on you tube.
Glad you are feeling better Klamath.

Hi,
On Saturday, I receive my 3 binoculars to test and compare and decide which one I will be keeping. Pentax DCF SP Leupold Golden Ring 10 x 42 Vortex Razor 10 x 42 I will provide a more detailed analysis in a few days, but here are my initial impressions...... I am VERY impressed with the optics of the Leupold, and I would rank them first, Viper second and Pentax 3. As for as ergonomics and feel in hands, I would rate the Pentax as the best in the group, Viper second and Leupold 3rd. I actually am somewhat disappointed in the feel of the Leupolds. To me, if feels like a very weird vinyl, almost like a car seat. It feels kind of slippery and not very secure, not nearly as pleasing to feel and hold as the Pentax or the Viper. So far, I love the fit and finish and feel of the Pentax the best. |

Nodule,
I noticed you listed the razors in your post, but mention the "vipers" were second best. I am just clarifying which model you are comparing.
Look forward to reading more.

I came into quite a bit of more money, so I will be returning all 3 binoculars I just received to
test, and I guess purchased the Nikon Premier LXL 10 x 42, right here from SWFA. The specs of the Premier will exactly fit my needs, so im confident it will work for me. I hope I made the right decision and I hope SWFA is a trustworthy company. I will write an update once I receive them. |

When you call just ask for Christopher, Stephanie, or Brady..... tell them who you are. They can help and will help with A+ service.

One of those 3 individuals was who I spoke to at SWFA. Maybe this person was just having a bad day, but I was not very impressed. It would be inappropriate to mention the name, so
I will just leave it right there. Thanks |

Do yourself a favor and get the Pentax. I have had them all. The vortex is good but not any better than the Pentax to me. Good luck.
