I just purchased a Vortex Viper 3.5-10x50 planning to put it on my Tikka 300 WSM. The eye relief specs are a little scary on this scope with the recoil being so heavy and all. Should I look at another option?

3.5 to 3.2 eye relief.  HMM   my Conquest is 3.34 eye relief on a Tikka 300 WSM it works fine.

You might want to change out recoil pads and give yourself a little more room with a longer length of pull.  If I had a T3, I would put a real soft sorbothane pad on it anyway just because the rifle is so light.

I think you'll be fine.

Change out the recoil pad for sure. I love my Tikka.

I just picked up a Browning x bolt in 270 wsm, this is exactly the same scope I'm considering for it. If they all think you'll be good then I'm thinking I should be fine too. Let is know how it work out.

I had a Vortex Diamondback on a Rem 700 .300 WM.  The darn thing broke, but Vortex replaced it. I quickly sold it for a Leupold with 4" of eye relief and no problems.  I think I would opt for more eye relief on a magnum rifle.
