For strictly hunting the 2-7x32 would be the most compact and lightweight of the three.  It will be quicker on target especially if you get it with the C3 reticle.  It doesn't have the rainguard that the Elite has but it does see through covers that come with them.  The bushnell customer services has a dark past, hear they are coming round, but no giving them any credit yet.  Vortex is lifetime, transferable.  That means your always covered.  The vipers are great glass and a tough scope. They would be my choice.   the 2-7 then the 4-12

Another vote for the Vortex Viper 2-7x32 @ $170....got two myself, thinking about getting one more with the C3 reticle.

I 've got the Viper 2-7 and 4200 3-9 ... Gotta give the nod to the 4200 ... 3-9 suites the cailber and has Rainguard ..
