Hi there,
I have a vintage Weaver J2.5 scope that I'm trying to restore.  All the glass is clean, including the interior lenses.  However, I'm sure when I bought the scope, it had been reassembled improperly.  I've tried to find a schematic regarding lens placement, spacers, etc, but I can't seem to find one.  Specifically, I'm struggling with the internal aluminum tube that houses three lenses and the reticle.  If anyone has a schematic, or could describe the proper orientation for assembly, that would be appreciated!  Thanks.

Mark

This reminds me if 35 years ago when I managed by the Grace of God to save money and purchase a Zeiss porro prism binoculars. They were great, except dirty inside.
I took them apart to clean the lenses with rags and alcohol.
Each half of the binoculars had two triangular glass prisms.
Cleaning and re-assembly were successful, and the image was very clean and sharp. Except, I saw four of everything. Quadruple vision, no matter how many times i tried re-assembly.
It's safe to say that your scope is kaput.
