My dad has a tin picture of that autoloading rifle image on a wall up at his cabin. We bought him a bunch of Remington and Winchester tin pics like that. He made frames for them out of old reclaimed barn wood. They turned out pretty cool.
Lifetime warranty and excellent customer service don't mean a thing when your gun fails during a zombie attack.

Colt Officers Model Match .38...Single-Action Only...Excellent Condition...Mfd 1959, C&R Ok...No Reserve .38 Special For Sale at GunAuction.com - 15517367

Here's a Colt Officers Model Match.

In the link below they were selling a 22 Magnum!! Colt only made about 430 22 Magnums in this revolver. They are super rare.

I have a 22 LR. My serial is 72430. Mine was made in 1957. Colt made less than 7000 in 22LR.

Colt only made 15,000 Officers Model Match over a period of 16 years. They made about 1000 a year. Most of them were 38 Specials. Discontinued 1969.

colt new service pistols 3d 3ds

The other day I saw an ancient Colt New Service over at the gun store just like the one above. Caliber 38 WCF! ( 38-40!!) It was all gray like the gun above. They wanted $800 for it I think.

The gun I saw had black Colt grips like this photo.

SOLD ULTRA RARE COLT USMC 1909 REVOLVER MATCHING GUN........WITH COLT LETTER | Pre98 Antiques

About six or seven years ago I saw a Colt New Service in a gun store here in Waco. It said 45 Colt on the barrel. It said 45 Colt on the tag.

I looked at it and I saw that the cylinders had been machined to headspace 45 ACP. Apparently the gun "experts" at that store never opened the cylinder.

Lady brought me a service model (official police)her Dad carried in the 50's. It was in a bag cause her son tried to "fix" it. Needed a cylinder foot and a spring. It was in fair to poor condition and I deemed it unsafe to fire though it functioned well. Head space and timing was off too much. She sent it to colt for their recommendation. They said they would leave it in its original condition and agreed it was unsafe to fire. But, valued it in its current condition to be worth $2,500 at most auctions. She's not interested in selling as is appropriate. I was surprised at its value in that condition.

Sabre 58 - Long Rifle Hard Case - Panzer Cases

Not so many years ago I sent a Winchester Model 70 through the mail to a guy in Spokane, Washington.

The Post Office person asked me what was in the case. I told him "a clarinet" .....
