I picked this rig up at an estate sale. Scope seems to be in good condition, works well and the rings are in excellent condition. I am going to sell them on line maybe on GB and was wondering what they are valued at? I have been told the rings are worth 150 alone. Any help appreciated.

I have seen Sako rings hoping to get over one hundred dollars on the Internet.  I have used them, but I never cared for the Big Weaver-Style Wheels on the side that needs a Forked Screwdriver to tighten them.

Maybe you could sell them to somebody.  The scope looks like a mid-sixties Japanese scope which isn't worth a whole lot.

There are tons of better mounts out there for Sakos now....

Hi Edteach,

Don't think it will attract much dosh, over here. The rings are not special and the 32mm dia objective lens is not popular. Japanese made scopes are not as popular as American manufactured ones. We like the Winchester A5/6 for fitting to the Lee Enfield military rifles. The target boys like the INERTL .

Other than that its all German made scopes that go down well. Conservative lot.

Acker.
