Good Morning! I recently sold this scope that belonged to my deceased father for $600. on e-bay.
I had my 47 year old son check it out for me and he said you could see the number on a deck of cards across the road in the field! Now the man who bought it tells me it is not in functioning condition. He says the inside cross hairs are completely detached. That it will take time and a lot of money to get it even functional! I asked him to get an estimate and get back to me or he could return it. What do you think happened? He said I had it packed very good, but we all know how they toss packages around and other ones on top of other ones! Or do you think he might be scamming me? If someone could tell me what the repairs might cost, I would appreciate it. It was a beautiful scope. Thank you for any help! Linda

It's really hard to say.

How does he know the reticle is "detached"?
If at first you don't secede...try..try again.

Send it to TK Lee. He will clean it and put in a new crosshair with a Lee dot the size you want for $75.00 plus shipping.
