I have been having issues with my turrets on my scope, ever since I got it the turrets have been excessivly hard to turn and with no audible clicks.

After removing the turrets and either putting some lube on them or repositioning them, the problem is fixed and the turrets are great... for about 1hour, then they go right back to being nearly glued stiff.

What can I do to permanently clean up the turn in my turrets?

they will set on there own so that while you transport it it won't get knocked into a different setting, however on mine, when I adjust it after the first click it becomes very easy unless I leave it again. it is the same deal with the rear focus. If you have hard clicks even after you start it then you should wait for SWFA admin.

No, mine stay tight. today at the range I could barely turn them at all.

I have heard a bunch of different recommendations for lube, etc and some say to remove the larger o-ring, but I live on the we(s)t coast and that isn't the best of places to be removing waterproofing o-rings.

Hello cerickson

I was curious to know where you got your Super Sniper from.

I observed a Super Sniper that had similar issues and poor

glass quality in vegas. I was told by a trusted source that there

are some fakes from china and indonesia. The SS I observed

has the glass quality of a Tasco World Class Plus and turrents

and finish very similar to the Tascos from china. He did not buy

it from SWFA, it was part of a trade.

good question, i'll have to look into that. Being in Canada I had to buy it from someone instead as SWFA doesn't export. What can i do to authenticate the scope. I will also be asking the person i bought it from.

I am confident it is genuine though as the turrets work great once they get cleared up after I work on them and the optics quality is great.

I will still check up on this nonetheless.

I have the same problem with my ss 10x42m. The turrets seem to get a little stuck and audibly the clicks almost feal and sound kinda mushy for lack of a better word. but it dos'nt hurt the performance of the scope. And honestly this is fast becoming my favorite scope. But i have never had a problem with the side paralax turret.
