We had Venison Chili tonite with fresh baked corn bread.

Being from north of the Mason-Dixon Line for ya Southwesterner's we weren't raised on " HOT" but a friend brought us some El Canato chile pods ( ground ) from Albuquerque that were born in the Valley of the Sangre De Christo Mtns. In the Village of Chimayo called Special Reserve for what's that's worth.

We just devoured it and the corn bread with lots of Amish butter for the corn bread.

😛

Did you have any  sorghum molasses to go with the butter and cornbread?

Lile, I'm not a Mole Asses fan, but that's why they still make chocolate and vanilla!

I do understand others tastes.

Maybe I should say I would be happy to try it though.

Sounds wonderful Skip!  I'm with you on not eating 'Fire / Molten Lava' and calling it food....
Some heat is fine but when you can't breathe and start sweating.... no thanks!

I didn't get influenced by all the messicans and their 'no frigerator' cooking, I got influenced by them crazy Cubans and their Citris based marinades and black beans...

Looks " hot " Eduardo, I'm a medium fan.

My honey grows hot peppers for friends, I'll get one of the brothers to post pics when they are ready.

They are in her greenhouse now.
