I know we all own more than one gun and some of us might have more than one vehicle, but in general what do you consider your self to be.

I am dying to see if Dale's theory is correct.

You have to read this post to understand

Then this post up until Dale's one liner.

Do we pick what we currently drive or what we would buy if we had $30k laying around?

Should'nt it be; Import/Tikka?

I consider myself Ford/Winch.  I have a history with the M70.

But, I drive a Dodge and shoot Remingtons

The Remington is all I have left, after that terrible boating accident.

Man, I don't see my Hummer Recovery Vehicle in the list...., but since Ford recently took over Land Rover/Jaguar and since I own another Ford Pickup.  I guess that would make me Ford/Remington for now. :)

Why don't you post a video of your "Hummer Recovery Vehicle".

Is it still totalled?

Nope.  It'll be ready in the next few days.  Took them a couple of months to decide what to do with it, but they figured it was just too costly to write off.  And WHAT??  It was just a little water!  So what if it was flowing over the windshield!  What's amazing is I only got about 6" of the cab and that was from slowly leaking inside.  Mechanicals almost done, now just a touch of body work and it's a new truck.  Virtually all elctronics replaced, steroes, speakers, command start, CB, Engine computer and all electronic ignition parts, door window motors, full interior, headliner, etc., etc.  Hopefully no problems afterwards.

So Chris.  You didn't step up to the plate and commit!  Ford or Chleppy?  Since I know you have both, which one are you pickin'

Hey!  Just made me think of somehting my dad used to say.  "You can pick your friends and you can pick your nose, but you can't pick your friend's nose..."

Hmm.. My cars are a Subaru and a Scion (Toyota).

As for rifles, I am most fond of my Tikka, Savage and a Mosin-Nagant.

Of American cars I typically prefer GM to others, but I do not own any GM vehicles at this point (and their build quality is still not up to snuff, IMO, though better than Ford and Dodge).

The only Remington I own is an 870 shotgun (and it'll probably stay that way as I am not a big fan of M700).  No Winchesters or Rugers in the stable yet either (I am considering a Ruger wheelgun though).

There just aren't enough options in your poll Chris!

Hey, I know at least one other person with this combo (that's probably it though).

See, if I drove a GM truck (and I drive around 30K a year) I would only be able to afford one gun and one scope because of gas cost alone.  That would actually make me a better shot in all likelyhood.

As for the Mosin Nagant, this 108 year old rifle with my handloads will shoot sub-MOA all day long.  All I did to it was adding a decent trigger and a scope.  No bedding or other modifications were necessary.

Anyhow, I am (this weekend) going to get onto a plane and fly to Israel for my second wedding.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to Everyone!

Ilya

Put me down for a Ruf Turbo R/ 3 votes for Husqvarna bolt actions and the rest are Remington 700 custom and semi-custom's.

2 Kimber's and a stunning Cooper 57M ( makes a Super America look like a Marlin for just a little more bucks.
