Cool Hello all, I'v been reading the numerous posts for some time now. Was wondering if anyone out there has used the Pride Fowler scopes, specifically the RAPID RETICLE .17-RIM 6X40 MM. I have a CZ 453 17HMR and a Volquartsen semi-auto in 17HMR. They are both a blast to shoot. On the CZ I have a Nikon Monarch  5.5-16.5 X 44, Adjustable Objective,  Matte Finish,  with the BDC Reticle and the Volquartsen has a  Zeiss Conquest Rifle Scope 4.5-14x50 with milldot reticle. I just purchased two DPMS AR-15's, one in the 204 with 24" flutted bull barrel, and the other is a 223 with the same barrel configuration . The pride fowler scope retails for 189.00 and was looking at purchasing a couple for the 17's and putting the other 2 scopes on my new AR's. Any thoughts out there would be greatly appreciated.

I have read mix reviews concerning the Pride Fowler scopes. I have never tried one. The price that you are looking to spend I would ask that you consider looking at the Mueller line of scopes. I now have three and could not be any happier. They have held up well. All are mounted on rimfire only at this time 2-17HMR 1-22LR.

Thank you for the reply, I'll have to look into the Mueller scopes. I have never looked through one. I have always had Burris, Nikon, Leupold, and Zeiss.

The Mueller line is not the same class as the others, but for the money I think they are hard to beat. They serve the purpose well.....

I have a 3-9X 22 Long Rifle Rapid Reticle, and it is my favorite long-range reticle. It's on an AR-15, and i simply recald the reticle for the load i'm shooting. This is supposed to be a 22 rimfire scope, but it's a stout unit, and is excellent for what u're looking for.
