Just picked up a pair of these in 10.5x 45mm.
Anyone have any input on this model?

I want to bump this for any info in the Vanguard Endeavor ED series.  I'm more interested in 8x42 and how they compare to the ZR ED3 and Kruger Caldera.

At the moment I think I am going with the Caldera.

Thanks

I've only had experience with the Kruger Caldera. I've "read" that Vanguard hasn't had the best quality control on a lot of binos, however, I've read good reviews of the Endeavor ED series...so maybe they're stepping it up. I thought the optics in the Kruger Caldera would good for the price point, but mine had a sloppy focus and it looked like someone used a razor blade to fit the rubber around the hinge. Also, the ginormous oculars didn't fit my face so I returned it. I have a Zen-Ray ZRS HD and I think it's great for the money.

Out of those three, I'd be inclined to spend my money on the ED3. I think Zen-Ray has the best customer service from what I've seen. I've also generally read more positive reviews about their products in general, compared to the other two. That being said, I think any of the three will offer great optics for the given price points and would probably be worth their asking price.
