has anyone used a valdada super m2 6x30 for .308? opinions? also what height rings should i use on a dpms .308 16 inch bbl? the flat top is already pretty high. i didn't know if i should still use high rings. seems like medium would be better. let me know.

I think medium will clear it but high might line it up better with your cheek weld.

IOR 6x30 has 35mm scope tube and it comes with rings.  I have not seen a lot of aftermarket 35mm rings, to be honest.  Anyhow, I think the rings that come with it should work just fine.

If you are referring to a 6x42 scope with a 30mm tube, then medium rings from IOR or Leupold (QRW) should be high enough.  Rings from different manufacturers have different heights.  For example, Leupold PRW low rings are taller than Weaver Grand Slam medium rings.  You'd be better off finding out the exact ring height from the manufacturer.
