hi guys
im new to this forum and have a questions to ask.
I purchased a USO SN12 but was disapointed to see a piece of anodising had stuck to an internal lense. After many emails being ignored, i was offered to send the scope in for cleaning. Before doing this though, i found another potential issue with the scope. If you move your head from side to side as you do when checking for parallax issues, the outer parts of the recticle appear to 'bend'. When i asked cutomer service about this, i was told (eventually) that this was a side effect of USO getting a large FOV from their scopes, and it was normal for this to happen. I have since checked many other brands of X4 scope, both tactical and hunting, and both cheap and expensive. NONE of the others have this 'bendy' recticle and they ALL have the same FOV as the USO.
Did they lie to me about a faulty scope? Or do all of their scopes do this? Can anyone confirm?
I look forward to your replies

I don't know anything about that particular USO scope, but their Customer Service is known to be great, I am sorry if your experience has not been.

Someone more knowledgeable than me should address the bending, but if you aren't happy, call and tell them.

As for the dust on the reticle, it is common on any anodized aluminum tube.  They will advise you bang it on something to dislodge the dust..  if that doesn't work, ship it back and they will clean the reticle (I had one do the same thing, sent it in for cleaning, had it back in a few weeks, all good to go.)

Maybe Koshkin will weigh in on the bending, but if you have issues with their Customer Service, call  and ask to speak with John, he'll square it away.

Let me know how it goes.
