Just thought I'd put this out there. Is there anybody else who would like to see a Super Sniper with a 50mm Obj and have 3-15x mag yet have the same level of adjustment as the current 10x42, rear focus?

I have a SS 10x42 and a NF 3.5-15x50 NXS. I love both scopes but the other day I was shooting both rifles when I realized my SS is a pretty darn NICE piece of work! especially for the money!

Also, I wouldn't mind if SWFA added more H2O proof lube on the knobs as I think the clicks now, although good, wouldn't be hurt for a little more added protection.

Have you had a failure with the seal on the SS? Lubricants used in excess can collect grit. Grit is abrasive to the seals. Do you have a recommendation supporting a better lubricant that will not collect grit. To much may reduce the level of the audible clicks while making adjustments.
Welcome to the OT Paulsfin. Collective creative talent is what has helped create the superiority that is now held by the Super Sniper.

No, I haven't had any problems with the seal. I read in an article that a reviewer had complained the turret clicks on older models were not clean due to too much lube on the seals. My comment was made in comparing the SS with the NXS as the NXS's clicks are a little less audible probably due to more lube on the turret.

The scope has worked flawlessly and I expect that it will remain that way for a long time because its built well.

About half way down the page is the latest on a high power variable from S.S., from the owner of the company Chris Farris.
