I posted a question yesterday asking what a good optic would be for my Bushmaster M4 O.R.C. Keeping the cost under 200.00

Today I found a TRUGLO red dot sight within my price range on Cabela's website. It's only $60.

Thoughts on the TRUGLO?
Any other sights you would recommend under 200?

Since last night I've been thinking about buying an AIMPOINT CompM3.
'IF' I choose to go with a quality optic such as AIMPOINT then I can't afford my G21. Though I already have a G26 for my CCW.

So I can buy a G21 and a TRUGLO red dot today OR buy just an AIMPOINT.
It's hard to dish out 500 + for a sight when I can have a new Glock 21 in my hands today for the same price...
Decisions decisions... Help!

what is the primary role of the gun?
if it may ever be used in a self defense situation, get the aimpoint
I use the C3 on my 5.56 carbine and with a 5 year battery life it will always be on if I need it...
the C3 just doesn't have night vision compatibility and I can't go scuba diving with it

bear in mind that you have to have the right mount for any of them if you are going to put it on a flat top upper

"bear in mind that you have to have the right mount for any of them if you are going to put it on a flat top upper"

Clearly I'm brand new to this...  As I said I have a Bushmaster M4 O.R.C. (optics ready carbine)
which I purchased from Impact Guns(love em).. Still listed on their site.]
Now I've chosen my sight, the AIMPOINT M3 2 MOA.

And I don't know what mount I need or brand to get...clueless... I just know I prefer quality.

Advice?

Thanks

Larue Tactical is the best Aimpoint mount I've seen/used.
