I am very interested in this optic and just wanted to ask a few questions...
Edit to add: I will be using this on a M4 carbine 16" barrel if I chose this optic. Edited by M11293 |

Well, I stopped by my local gun store and discovered that they had one there and I checked it out.
It seem to have washout issues along with reticle clarity issues. The reticle seemed very fuzzy and unclear espeacially when using the battery powered source. The normal fiber optic and tritium seemed to suffice; I felt there was no need for the extra battery power source. I had trouble focusing on the chevron and I sometimes couldn't determine if it was a chevron; it looked like a fuzzy, unclear, blob.
Obviously, Trijicon needs to make some adjustments to the sight because of its failures of clarity and washout. The Tripower has the potential to surpass the Aimpoint series with ease if these issues were attended to. Until then, I would recommend to hold onto those Aimpoints. |
