I'm pretty sure that Rancid Coolaid has, and if memory serves, I believe he has one for sale.

He was complimentary of it; he just seems to buy and sell gear often.

Yes, good scope, not best for 1000+ yard shooting, but a good scope.

Glass is typical Trijicon (not IOR, probably on par with Conquest), the turrets work as expected, they track as they should.

I like it.

I am also interested in this scope for a 6mm cal AR. Is it worth the money or would I be better off paying more for NF. I will be using it mainly for hunting hogs (night) and a occasional deer and targets.

I would say it's too much scope for hog hunting at night..

It is a bit much for hog hunting (I hog hunted with mine and wasn't crazy about the 5X field of view - though no 5X field of view is great.)

It would be too much for a 6mm AR, I think.  Nice to have exposed elevation turrets (where it differs from the 3-9 and 2.5-10), but I would consider a Nightforce 2.5-10x32 for a hog gun, or the 3-9 Trijicon.

It is a good optic, but for hogs, you might get a 25 yard shot, and no 5X is ideal for a 25 yard shot.

If you really want target turrets, I'd say spend the extra $$ for a Nightforce.  if not, get the 3-9 with mil dot reticle, you will be pleased.

agreed, the 3-9 AP with the midlot / green dot is a fantastic scope
what I run on my 6.8
though, on Saturday my 13 year old looked through it at the range and said out loud "oh wow!"

it may get migrated to his 243 for the deer season and I will run something else on the 6.8

I do a lot of coyote calling at night while using a spotlight and I usually keep my scope on 6X to help identify what I am looking at and also since you can only see the area lit by the light  and I do not shoot at fast moving animals so you(IMO) really do not need a wide field. I am thinking that hunting under moonlight for hogs occasionally (3or4 times year) the 5X might be acceptable but maybe not. I would use it for targets mostly but it may see some action in the predator fields as well although in the daytime hunting I definitely like a lower power/wider view.

For a coyote rifle, it would be good.
