I see multiple dots when I use the Aimpoint Micros, even with the smaller 2 MOA dot.  Do users of the Trijicon SRS experience similar problems?  What other red dots are available that may avoid this problem?

If you have stigmatism (which it sounds like you probably do) it is not going to be any different.
I have it a little bit and keeping the dot lit lower helps

I run a T1 as my primary red dot and have tested the SRS quite a bit

Both are about the same from that perspective.

I have a astigmatism (same issue) and use a Trijicon Accupoint and have no problem.
FYI- I have found that an illuminated etched reticle gives my eyes no problems as well.
However, Your mileage may vary.

I just received a SRS and I have T-1s and an old EOTech.  I must wear very good glasses to get a super clear sight picture when shooting with all red dot type systems.  The previous guy mentioned the Accupoint and I concur with his point which is that good 1-?X scopes built for close to mid-range shooting having a focus (or diopter) adjustment, work exceptionally well as a red-dot for the sight-challenged like me.  I have a TR24R (1-4X red triangle) and it works very well, but I use red-dots also because they are slightly better for some shooting situations and they are fun as well.
The SRS is a very nice sight, I wish it weighed less, but then it might not be as tough.  At this point I haven't used it much so I don't know enough to recommend it, so far great.
Interestingly, as an aside, it appears (cursory test) that the SRS is NOT compatible with an Aimpoint 3X magnifier.  I was curious about this, but I need to do more investigation.  I don't believe the SRS was meant to be used with a magnifier, but I was curious.
I can recommend the Aimpoint T-1 without reservation. (Magnifier not recommended with the T-1 either, IMHO)  Use a scope if you want magnification.
