Was at a local gun shop yesterday (by local I mean a 2 hr drive) and was pleasantly surprised to learn they started to carry Trijicon line in december.  So like a kid in a candy store I checked out a couple models 3-9x40 with green triangle and 3-9x40 crosshair with amber dot.  Now I'm not looking to upgrade right now but its nice to see some other quality manufacturers starting to make their way north of the border.  By the way the Trijicon looks like a beautiful scope, just that triangle may take a little getting used to.

I now have a few Trijicon Accupoints, great scopes.  I don't like the triangle for really precise work, but it is great for rapid target acquisition.

I highly recommend the 3-9 and 2.5-10 Accupoints, own each, like both allot for hunting optics.

I've had the 1.25-4 accupoint a couple years now on my deer rifle. Absolutely love the thing. It took very little getting used to. I actually surprised myself with the first shot I took with it on a deer. I use the top of the triangle for for pinpoint aiming and find it to be right on. For close shots on deer just put the whole triangle on the vitals and you're good. The ability to adjust the brightness of the triangle is the best feature of the scope in my opinion.
