They are good scopes, the glass is nice at the price and they hold up well.

real optics expert) what he thinks of them. All I know
is that the one on my very light 338 Federal Kimber
will shoot sub MOA 3 shot groups out to 300 yards with
180 ballistic tips. That will kill any eating meat I have run across.
Waiting for my 2.5-10x56 to put on my 300 SAUM DPMS AR10LR.
It will be following a 4-16x50 Schmidt so that should be a
test in real conditions rather than a gander thru a gunshop
window. And yes the diamond does glow in the dark. If you have
one take it in a closed closet at midnite and you will see it.

I guess I must have missed where anyone in this thread, or for that matter, in any other thread, said anything negative about the Trijicon Accupoints as a hunting scope other than legitimate concerns about mounting length with the 1.25-4X24 model.   So, I don't understand the "most of the hot air about them comes from non owners" comment.  Best I can tell, they've had a very favorable reception here overall.

I don't own one, but I really like the reticle and the fiber optic & tritium illumination concept.  I have even considered buying one; I just don't happen to have a need for another scope at present.

I know that I have recommended them numerous times, depending on situational needs.

Great scopes, the best that I own.  Now, I do not own any Euro scopes, but have casually compared the TR-22 with the same powered Swavorski, indoors and outdoors, again just recently and this time after proper adjustments, they came out even.  No, no low light testing, but I would be suprised if there was a huge difference, probably not enough for my hunting needs.  The eye relief was still more forgiving on the Trijicon.  When cash is plentiful, hopefully some day, I will buy either a Swavorvski or S&B, but that seems to be a long way off.

I have a TR20R 3x9x40. This is mounted on a gun to Deer, Elk and hog hunt with and all I can say is that I have been greatly impressed with it so far. It will get you on target FASTER, I was amazed at how quick you could pick up your target even with both eyes open.

I have often recommended the accupoint scopes. I think it will help their sales to add the new reticles - for years the post was the only one on the accupoint with either amber or red.  I took a good look at the 1.25 - 4 when I was at SWFA and it is with out a doubt a great brush gun scope. I have previously looked at the other two models and while I am not a big fan of a 56mm front objective the 2.5-10x56 is a scope that is very high on my wish I had it list. I do think the glass is better in the 2.5-10 that I looked at than it was in the 3-9 I looked at a few  years before.  Chris likes the amber and I like the red so suit your self on color.

One other thought while I'm recommending radioactive tritium scopesDevil I also recommend you buy large quantities of lead bullets Rockerto form a protective lead layer to insulate you from the posibility of any harmful rays.Laser%20Zap Now at first glanceShocked having cases of lead bullets stacked as high as your scope Peeker might seem excessive but in reality it is quite practical Smile as the cost of ammo seems to be going through the roof lately.
