Group;
   Bought a used Trijicon TA01 Acog and have it set on my M16A1. Using a genuine Trijicon Picatinny rail, but the weapon is hitting the target super low. About 2 feet down at 40 feet. Top screw has been adjusted until it won't turn anymore. Besides sending it to Trijicon, is there anything I can do to sight it?
Thanks in advance
AE

Welcome to the OT!

    I know this is going to sound a little strange but here goes.When you set up the turrets on an ACOG you are supposed to knock[yes I said knock] the turrets with your knuckle.The knocking will settle down the internals of the turret.I might not be giving you the most accurate explination but this is what I was told to do with my scope, now everything works fine.No more problems with Zeroing.I was taught this by someone who spent  5 trips to the sand box! This knocking holds true with both elevation & windage turrets.

     Only use a few pounds of pressure when taping the turrets,don't hit them so hard that you brake your knucklesWhacko

     Let us know how this works out for you................

trijicon customer service is good to go, and has repaired a few items for me in the past with quick service.  A phone call is worth the time.  As for the "knocking" its true ... if you max out an adjustment in a ACOG sometimes they will stick.  The last time I had it happen I gave it a few thumps with the rubber pad of my SOPMOD buttstock ... worked like a champ.
