stumbled on one in a shop while traveling. they have it for sale for $550..NIB. i really dont have any use for a 56mm objective atm, im mostly varmint hunting, a bit of whitetail hunting, and a fair amout of LR target shooting....but the price...sounds good. its the crosshair model w the amber dot, if it had mildots id have it in my hands now

do these only have 50mm of travel like the 5-20s(i searched here on trijcon travel, and thats all i found)

anyone got one of these? any comments? im short a few quality scopes for all my rifles and thought it might be nice on my 300wsm, which is my fav deer rifle

how are these scopes without parallax adjustment? that worries me a bit as well

any info anyone can provide will be appreciated

thx! as always!

lear

i dont know that you would really need it until 12x, there seems to be a lot of scopes in that 2.5x10 category without any adjustable parallax.

I had one on an AR (6.8) and really liked it, great glass for the money.  Who cares about the adjustment since it is capped turrets - but I do not think this one has the same limited elevation as the 5-20 (though I own that one too, on an AR10, really great scope.)

I am a huge fan of the Accupoint line, have a 3-9, had 2.5-10, and have the 5-20; all are a great bargain in good glass.

10X doesn't really need parallax adjustment.  If you plan to shoot 1,000 yards, this isn't the scope for many reasons.  For a hog gun, it is tough to beat.

It's a good scope for low light hunting. Rarely do you need parralax adj at 10X or below, and there are some scopes that are 12X that  are also parralax free. I think that's a good deal you are passing up.
