Absolutely!!

Is TPS now able to keep up with orders??

I would assume if you started selling on SWFA, that your sales would go up dramatically and my only concern would be your ability to keep up with the new orders.

Everybody that uses your rings really seem to like them.

The only knock on TPS I have ever read was that you couldn't make them as fast as you were selling them.

Just speaking for myself, I hate being placed on back order and typically will buy another brand (of equal quality) that's readily available.

I'm what you might call an "impulse buyer".....

That was a problem of the past and you are right as I'm a impulse buyer as we'll..

We are in the very early stages and if we work out the details it looks like January is the earliest.

TPS is great!!!! I I can tighten down each side of the top half without the scope rotating, and that greatness is hard to come by these days.

Wow Kris,

Thanks for the kind complements.  I actually have been to Fremantle when I was in the U.S.M.C.  What a beautiful place to be and would love to return someday.  Take Care and send me a pic of that stick, when you get it all put together.

Phil

I had to order mine through TPS which was fine, but a little hard to get ahold of.  I think SWFA could do this end of their business better.  As far as the rings go I have no complaints, except I should have ordered low height.  Hind sight is 20/20.  My scope sits about 10mm off the barrel which is a bit high.  I think my cheek weld will be fine with an Eagle Stock Pack.  Again, this is completely my fault.  I didn't exchange though because I was afraid of the wait.  I think SWFA would have enough inventory that these thing would be handled better.

Of course, if anybody could get them would they lose their precious metal value?!

I definately agree,

We would like SWFA's help and it makes sense for us to build and SWFA to sell...

Phil,

Love your products....I've had to wait a month here or there for the 5 sets of rings I own....I appreciate the military deal you guys offer, only thing I'd recommend is offering both 7/16" and 1/2" lock nuts...it would have been more convenient for me to have rings with 1/2" (like my other tactical rings) than to go with 7/16"....anyway it would be great to have a choice...I think SWFA would be a great route because a lot more people would see your product and they are a fantastic company (the best for optics...period).

Hello Sandsock,

We has a struggle when we had our move, but that is behind us now..  We do offer both the 7/16" and 1/2" lock nuts:  http://www.tpsproducts.com/products.php?cat=2

I think SWFA and TPS is definately a good route for both companies....

SVD, that looks like one shot from a 7.5mm  You guys that had the WSM thread going have made your point. The guns that you, and if mermory serves, Duce have, really punch nice groups.

Thank you very much gentlemen for the kind words. This picture was taken from that 18 page thread that I started on WSM's ,that thread realy inspired me to get my lazy butt to the range and get a picture to desribe what I had been talking about. I truly feel that TPS products are the best value going today in world class tactical rings and bases and I would like to add that the lightwieght rings and bases are exellent on a hunting rifle, the lightweight rings are what I used for the above pic on a sporter taper hunting rifle. I have not used TPS titanium rings yet but I am very interested in these and will look for some in the near future.

Well,
I just found this thread.  Call me slow, I was sending Chris PM's asking why he wasn't selling them.  LOL!!!
OK Phil make it happen.  I'm lookin' to buy a set and didn't what to short SWFA. It was their site that lead me to look at TPS.

I just pulled my TPS TSR rings off my Nikon scope.

I'm changing to "low" TSR rings instead of the mediums.

Yeah, Phil told me go with the lows, but I took a chance....

Phil will have to explain how it works but, there's not one stinking ring mark on my scope tube!!

Nothing....nada.

I don't think I've ever seen rings that wouldn't leave some marks before.

CT,

you and I have talked about these before. I have an individual here locally that would order them for me but I would rather go through SWFA.

The TPS Rings utilize a unique design which allows the user to fully tighten the left side of the ring, uniquely allowing the user to precisely rotate the scope to adjust the scope reticle for proper position, then tighten the right side of the rings, guaranteeing that the scope iwll not rotate with the rings, which is virtually impossible in any other design....

Both Base and Cap of each scope ring is within .0002 of an inch cylindrical roundness, guaranteeing as much as 98% scope tube to ring contact, compared to 40% on normal rings.  The necessity of serializing or lapping scope rings are now obsolete...

There can be alot of reasons for ring marks, but i would say our design helps lower them for our users...
