Awsome!!!!!  I was wondering when and this is quicker then I expected.  Hummmm need to start saving.   Would love one in a .375 H&H we'll see if they make it in the large calibers.

and run it over with my d-6 dozer!
They call me "Boots"
.375H&H, cause a .376 steyr would be blatant overkill!

Wouldn't that make a great hunting show episode?!!!  And what better way to honor pyro's hero, the late, great Jack O'Connor than for him to get his new .270 in the legendary Win M 70!!!!

.264 win mag? no i have a 6.5 remington mag big difference there, mine is a short action but it is a belted magnum, not near as much omph as the .264 win mag, mine 6.5 is just a hair faster than a .270 shooting a 130 grain bullet, not enough to notice, just better ballistics down range.

Come on pyro6999, go for the .270 winchester, everybody has to have one of those in his collection.  You know you do, but make it in a 700.

Love it!  Looks like the biggest change is the new trigger.  I actually like the original trigger - simple, simple, simple.

264 win mag would be cool if they'd back it with some new factory ammo in various loadings/bullets.

Pulled out my last Winchester Catalog, a 2006 edition.  The rifles may not be indentical but I've listed some suggested retail prices for comparison.  All were CRF.

Model 70 Super Grade III, Blued: $1036 standard calibers, $1076 magnum calibers

Model 70 Featherweight, Blued: $762 standard calibers, $792 WSM

Model 70 Sporter III, Blued: $742 standard calibers, $773 magnum and WSM

Model 70 Shadow Elite, Camo, Fluted Stainless (no mention of Bell and Carlson stock): $808 standard calibers, $839 magnum and WSM
