I have been going through upgrading my glass and I am currently focusing on the 15x56 size and I need suggestions. I have purchased 3 pairs now and have not quite found a keeper yet. The three I have purchased are the zeiss Conquest, Athlon Cronus G2, and the Bushnell forge. I have eliminated the Bushnell because they go dark to quick  and The Athlon are next to go because the eye box and eye relief just don't work for me. I am not sure if it is me but it seems like I can't quite get the Zeiss to focus. The focus knob is so touchy I just can't quite get them to focus. I was thinking about trying a pair of Steiner HX next any recommendations are greatly appreciated and please no Vortex optics

Buy once cry once optic is

Swarovski 15x56 SLC Binocular$2,399.00

Could you live with something less expensive.... probably but I don't think you would be satisfied.  Other than that I'd say Leupold.   If you were looking for a 10x I'd say IOR Valdada but they don't make a 15x

Well I have the 10x category covered I decided on a pair of Kowa Genesis and love them. I get what you are saying about buy once cry once that is why I originally forked out $1700 for the Zeiss. Are there any reviews on the Swarovski's out there.
