Any recommendations on bino protection that can be carried into the field?  I've been eyeballing the Badlands bino case.  A buddy has one and won't shut up about how awesome it is.  Also have read lots of great reviews on them.  Have seen them in store for around $50, seems like a great investment protector.

My dad has a similar kind of pack for his binoculars.  I don't remember the brand name.  If I get a chance I'll ask him.  He loves it but, I didn't like it as I felt it added too much bulk to my chest, which really messed up my archery technique. (He can't archery hunt anymore so; that's not a concern for him.

Certainly if you are going to be going places where there is a good chance of wind, snow, ice, dust, etc. it may prove to be an excellent protection option.

What if the hokey pokey really is what it's all about?
