proposal; no more comparisons without a side by side comparison using (RC) resolution charts.  and yes i know there are many other factors affecting visual performance. having said that to not do the RC (resolution chart) is sidestepping the question, which is the best scope?   this can be done online in this forum, by keeping a library of results for easy reference.  it can be expanded to such things as contrast, comma, chromatic abberation for the optics nuts but a simple RC would allow for quick scope comparisons without so many personal opinons which are of no value.  when the question is asked; which is the best scope they usually mean which is the clearest.  the RC would answer that and now comes the place for opions on; low light, build quality, reticle design, lens coatings etc, etc, etc.  this is fascinating stuff.   to the scope testers here; you're the men.  what do you say?

Cruft, are you having legitimate technical problems that won't allow your posts to appear for some reason?  I'm giving you the benefit of doubt that you wouldn't just make blank posts for the hell of it.  If you are legitimately having technical problems posting, try sending me a PM and lets see if your typing shows up through that method, and I'll try to help you resolve your problem.

I did a post search with Cruft's user name, and under that screen, it does show he did indeed try to post content.  Yet, when I click on "view post" from that screen, I get the blank posts again.  Here are his posts in this thread.  Wierd....

Cruft, check on your font color selection in the post editor tool bar and make sure you aren't posting with white colored font for some reason.  That could be one cause for your posts to be invisible.  Also, if you are typing your post in another application and copy/ pasting into the post message box, you could be having a problem there.  I see that you have successfully posted multiple times in the past, so this must be a recent settings change of some kind.  Anyone else have any suggestions for what the problem may be?

Hang in there, cruft; I am trying to get help for you.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but I don't have a clue what the source of the problem is.  I'll let you know if I get any feedback from others who are more computer savvy than me.

I have no idea, i have used word and notebook to copy and paste many times, still works.  Even tried to post in white and you can still see it if you try to highlight it with your mouse.

The answer is Hensoldt, doesn't really matter what the question is.

Hensoldt.
Freedom is something you take.
Respect is something you earn.
Equality is something you whine about not being given.
