well, I don't make idle offers!
you sound like me... someone offers to take me hunting I tell them not to make idle offers, as I will take them up on it!

we don't have consistent pig action... that's the tricky part
now that we will be out more during deer season I plan to get a little more serious about hunting them while it's cool and after season until it starts to get hot

the landowner has another 1200 acres (we are on less than 200) that is on the colorado river and he we can hunt hogs there... hopefully next time we go down we can check it out and get to establish a relationship with him and that we are standup guys.. perhaps that 1200 can be something we have steady access to...

man, shoot everyone on sight? sure!!!

I meant a "through the scope" pic, at night, with nothing but green light, might not turn out so good.  I'll give it a try and see.

It's good to know someone makes something, I guess it sits where my head would be, and I can watch the reticle in the camcorder or camera screen.

My weekend hunt was a bust, torrential rains and flash flooding relocated the piggies away from where I hunt.

For the first time ever in Refugio, I saw no pigs, not one, not any.

I did play with the laser designator and, in fog, it is pretty cool.

From my playing with it in field conditions, I'd say it is good for its intended purpose out to about 250 yards, not more than 300.

And the battery life ain't 8 hours, nowhere near.  I got about 2 hours out of mine.  It auto-dims prior to dying completely. (The battery was the original, now I'll try my SureFire batteries and let you know if they get closer to the 8-hour published lifespan.)

I still like it allot.

Eventually I will put a thermal scope on my pig gun.
