Rancid, I'm a big Leica fan too (10x Trinovids). I compared it against the 10x ED2 that bought. It'll be interesting to see if your comparison mirrors mine. Now have an open mind, my friend! |

Oh boy! I am going to get my post count up so I can participate in these tests. I would like to get a good pair of binos but I have never really liked the ones I have used in the past.

As a huge fan of my Leica's, I've read (with some skepticism) the reviews. I'll test drive a pair and put something up.
I'm anxious to see if they are as good as some say. |

He bought the ED2's BTW. I forgot to mention that and we have not had a chance to see if we could determine any real differencea in the ED's and 2's.
I couldn't figure out how to edit my post so I guess I have to slop it up with another. :)

I showed my ED's to my brother. He bought 7 pair from SWFA for his police department. He is very picky and under severe budget scrutiny...I'll let you guys know how they like them. He won't openly rate equipment on the net.

Thanks to all for the great info.. I am considering a new pair of Binocs but just can't afford the really high dollar ones. Without all of the reviews I would have skipped right be these as a name I didn't know and therefore probably wouldn't have considered..

We measure it with a micrometer, mark it with a crayon, and cut it with a chainsaw.

I wont have any Zen-Ray to test, but I am anxious just because I want to read all the reviews :) Until this moment, they all made my eyes shine :D

Doug/Ted, thanks for the kind words. We really appreciate the great support from all of our customers and friends. 7x36 will be on the roadmap once we have them in again.
