Chris, he seriously said that? LMAO! If he did indeed talk to me that way, i'd take my business someplace else, i don't care how great their rep is. I've seen them get pretty darn defensive on AR15.com in the past, but have had great experiences ordering from them in the past. Strikes me as odd he'd act like that. Maybe he doesn't like having the competition? Edited by shooter07 - August/03/2010 at 15:57 |

Thanks Chris. As always very thorough. I liked the play on salt and pepper as well, very nice.
![]() Any chance we could see SWFA get one with QD levers down the road? |

Do you think it's a coincidence that ours is named SSALT and theirs is named PEPR?
Our latest version (Gen. II) has a wider gap between the rings to accomodate scopes with a large saddle (USO, Falcon, Shepperd, ect.). It also cantilevers further out for proper eye relief on longer scopes. Like the Gen. I mount it is 30mm with 1" spacers so one mount does it all. The SSALT does not come with two picatinny rail tops like the Burris does as we don't see how you could use two and many people have no use for them at all. Instead we offer them seperately. We have one with a picatinny rail on top and one with a picatinny rail on the side. Even with the spacers and added length the SSALT is lighter than the PEPR too.
