Do you really believe that no one should own land, or are you just upset that you aren't the one that has it?

No I did not nor would I have ever voted for him, I have always sided with republic. Never voted though. Think what you will, I simply just don't agree with ownership of land.[/QUOTE]
That right there speaks volumes. It is an American citizen's DUTY to vote.

Regarding Ted Turner, his politics are distasteful enough, but I agree with other posters that his properties are magnificently well managed. And, yes, should you wish to hunt them in Montana you will need to book with Arnaud Outfitting of Bozeman as another post above has mentioned. Turner employs onsite managers for operations, but subs out the hunting via Rob Arnaud, including buffalo. Considering the potential havoc that could and has been caused by open public hunting on these lands, I don't know what other reasonable option Turner would have. Other liberal owners might have simply banned all hunting of any kind period.

TL you are correct. I should have included wording to the affect of 'being informed' and 'placing a responsible vote.' IMO that is PART of the DUTY of the American citizen. Too many people vote based on campaign ads and media bias. My apologies for taking this off topic

This twisted outlook on landowners sounds a lot like the trespassers and poachers we get every year during hunting season.

It's amazing the amount of crap and excuses that comes out of their mouths when we catch them.

I dont understand what drives people to poach and trespass? But then again if nobody owned land we wouldn't have this problem...

If you own something (land) you are more likely to take care of it. If you don't own something then you are less likely to respect it. How many times have you gone to a public park and been disgusted by the trash and vandalism?
If someone walks across your yard and nothing more and no one sees them then no one but the walker knows; no harm, no foul. If they walk across your yard, dig up your flowers, cut down your tree, and leave all kinds of trash and damage, then you have been left with financial damage for their actions. Hey it wasn't their property, so what have they got to loose if they don't get caught.
Now a different reasoning. No one really owns land, because when we leave this earth the land stays on earth. We pay for the privaledge to occupy land and use it for our benefit, making a living (farming, buisness, etc.). We may pass the land to a family member, or sell the privaledge to someone else when we are done with it, but we can't take the land with us.
I used to get mad at land owners because they wouldn't let me enjoy their land. Once I became a land owner, I got mad at tresspassers because they don't respect the land. Now I undestand.
NO TRESSPASSING
Ask first.

Life's concerns should be about the 120lb pack your trying to get to the top of the mountain, and not the rock in your boot.
