I have been looking for a scope for my new RRA Predator Pursuit for several weeks.  Several visits to gun shops helped me reduce my choices.  I was down to a VXIII, Kahles KX, and the Zeiss Conquest.  Looked through them in the store and outside and IMHO the Zeiss appeared to me to be the brightest.  I did not like how bad the parallax was when looking through the VXIII when moving it a little bit.  The Zeiss seemed to be much brighter as well.  The Kahles was very nice as well but I guess I just liked the Zeiss better.  Will post pics of the rig when I get it together.

Which Conquest did you buy? I'm trying to decide between a Nikon 3x12 42mm or a Zeiss 3.5x10 44mm.

I think you will be happy with your choice. The lowlight performance has never left me down. Keep us posted on how you like it as you put it to use.

A Conquest is never a bad choice as long as you select a magnification and reticle style appropriate for the type of shooting or hunting you intend to do with it.  It is a solid upper-midrange scope with good optics and a good selection of reticles.

I got the Rapid Z reticle #20.  Looks super bright if I only had the rifle to put it on.  Soon I hope

The iron has been on order since 12/17.  Figured I'd make sure all the toys were in house before she arrives.

I had heard that it is a good thing to mount the scope a little forward in order to get a good cheek weld on the stock so I decided to try the RRA Scout Rail.  It should put the scope forward enough for a comfortable setup.  I have been using Burris Signature Zee rings for several years on about 10 rifles and I love them so I decided to go with a set of medium Zee rings.  Will let you know via pictures when I finally get the rig mounted.
