Hey y'all,
This is a great forum... except for one thing.
I recently asked a question about a scope that SWFA doesn't sell.
The name of the scope was automatically changed to "competitor" in the post so no member could even tell what the heck I was asking about.
I understand. SWFA owns this forum and therefore can do anything they like.
But it did bring to mind, "What are they afraid of?"
SWFA sells a lot of great scopes by great manufacturers.
But I must say I was greatly disappointed that members can't even mention the name of a scope SWFA doesnn't sell!
I figure I'll be banned for this, but that's OK.
By the way, if you want to know about the line of scopes I was asking about simply reverse these to words and put them together; ridge and clear, but when you put them together, only use one "r", not two.
In other words, combine "clear" and then "ridge," but as I said, only use one "r" when you put them together.
Bye now,

There are a lot of discussion here about scopes that SWFA does not sell, such as Nightforce and US Optics.  However, the scope you are inquiring about is a house brand of another optics distributor and only available through them.  That, for obvious reasons, is not encouraged.

As a side note, now that I know which scopes you are inquiring about, if memory serves me right, they are just chicom crap, no different from a bunch of better chicom crap scopes like Leapers, etc.

Their body has a lot of similarities to Barska and Mueller scopes so they are probably trying to do the thing of chinese tubes with japanese lenses.
Too much money for a scope made in China, even with better lenses.  Look how hard Millett tries with the TRS and LRS and you still see a lot of reviews of problems with the mag ring, side focus, off adjustments, fungus inside the scope!!!
C-ridge has 3 testimonials listed....all on the same day and all for their cheapest models by people who happened to all only use their first names.
I wouldn't tempt fate by paying that much money for chinese manufacturing with an over-night brand name....tons of people saying, "hey I can have some scopes shipped from China with my brand name and make a little more money than selling other people's brands."
I am pretty sure it is deleted because OpticsTalk pops up on the search engines and in effect gives free advertising for c-ridge scopes.  Regardless in that scenario some boob will log on and have one or two posts saying how c-ridge scopes are the greatest.

Hey Mickey your talking about The O ptic Z one's house brand.  John Javowitz has lamely attempted to copy everything that SWFA does, he tried to have a samplelist and a talk group.  His copy of the ot is blatent if you look at his forum names.  He's a joke and so are his scopes.
Why don't you go hang out on his forum and start talking about super snipers and report back how that went over. lol
