Three Things to Ponder:

1. Cows
2. The Constitution
3. The Ten Commandments

Cows:
Is it just me, or does anyone else find it amazing that our government can track a single cow born in Canada almost six years ago; right to the stall where she sleeps in the state of Washington? And, they tracked her calves to their stalls. But they are unable to locate 11 million illegal aliens wandering around our country. Maybe we should give each of them a cow.

The Constitution:
They keep talking about drafting a Constitution for Iraq . Why don't we just give them ours? It was written by a lot of really smart guys, it has worked for over 200 years, and we're not using it anymore.

The Ten Commandments:
The real reason that we can't have the Ten Commandments posted in a courthouse is this: You cannot post "Thou Shalt Not Steal," "Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery", and "Thou Shall Not Lie" in a building full of lawyers, judges and politicians. It creates a hostile work environment.

America and the Government are two entirely different things, I love this land, and the Constitution and I will give up neither without some serious BLOODSHED !!!!

I don't know about you, but I think the original constitution was pretty much lost after they rewrote the governmental structure with the 12th, 16th & 17th amendments. Those were subtle changes, but they were well designed to shift power from the states to the federal government. One can argue that is good or bad, but power was definitely shifted. Of course, a civil war over states sovereignty tends to do that.

For me personally, the Bill of Rights is what really makes this county different from others. There have been many other structured republics out there, but few with the rights of citizens so clearly defined. I just wish the 10th amendment was given it due.

And I agree entirely that Government and the country are two separate critters.

Well put friend, and absolutely the Federal Government is well outside of the vision of our Founding Fathers.

The fact that the Fed Courts are trying crimes and not handling appeals of Constitutionally incorrect judgements is rather telling of just how far our Country has moved away from freedom, and towards the dangers of facism and communism. It is severly disturbing to me.

it's ok but to me its the ability to short sell.

Well cows and illegal aliens seem to have more rights than I do, so if you give a cow to an illegal alien, you would really be stacking the odds against us.
