Yup!

And thank you for that happy thought, Ted!
Last election sure proved it, though.

They need to tour a big time meat packing plant before shooting their mouths off about hunting ethics.
How sad....

Unbelievable. The writer should take a tour to a slaughter house (where store meat comes from) sometime.

I worked for Swift in the mid 80's on the kill floor.
We knocked, excuse me...made about 1800 head in an 8 hour day.
Luckily, no animals were injured during my tenure there.

Big Grin

I witnessed the whole process start to finish a few times while a vendor at one when I was younger. When someone obnoxiously comments about how inhumane hunting is, I take them step by step the slaughtering process and gore. No comparison.

To true; as soon as you discuss slaughtering of animals at a abattoir. The bunny huggers tend to go quiet, and stop complaining.

Toured many a packing plant.  First time I was 5yrs old and they (dad and uncle) took me and my brother down on the kill floor.  Had to wear boats due to the 6" of blood on the floor.  Now a days they try to collect more of the by product for use else where.  Funny how people think just because it comes in nice white styrofoam packages that it is so much nicer.  Funny.

I have often wondered how so much of mankind has managed to survive, much less prosper.

Can somebody locate and post a video clip of the Simpsons episode, (Lisa, the vegetarian?), with the happy, wide-eyed kid entering the meat packing plant for a tour, and exiting the rear of the plant, white as a sheet and shaking uncontrollably?

I almost died laughing.

When the line would go down for any length of time, we would get bored and throw cow body parts at guys working in other stations.
Me and my partner worked on the "side puller", so we'd throw pieces of hooves, tails, fat and whatever else we could get our hands on at the dudes around us.
Nothing like getting smacked in the face with a bloody piece of liver, I'll tell ya......Big Grin

Working the "gut table" was bad......
