Bar is almost finished... a bit later than I expected.  Long story short, my wife found some things she did not like and, of course, had to redo... STILL have to final polyurethane, add the liquor well and the bronze footrail, but those are pretty easy steps.

Bar is finished... will probably start loading it up tomorrow.  Would have been finished sooner but a short time after I sent the last picture, walked into my study and my wife was resanding the entire finish.  I said "WHAT ARE YOU DOING???"  She said, "I didn't like the finish".  There was nothing to say but "oh".

My wife is a pretty impressive lady... she IS a perfectionist.

Tonight, I concocted a Manhattan... first one I've had since I worked at Playboy of Dallas.  Quite pleasant...2 oz Templeton Rye, 1 oz sweet vermouth, a half teaspoon of Maraschino cherry juice, 2 dashes Angostura bitters in crushed ice, lightly stirred.  
I had truly forgotten how good, how relaxing a Manhattan is... I should open a bar...
