Yup, they've been building this ship for the last 3 years about 60 miles from my home. Down in Mobile, Al.
All aluminum construction.

Hey RC, don't feel bad, I'm sure they would give a few of you a ride.   LOL   Now that she's decommissioned I can say the Spru Can I was on would do that speed.  563'4", 55' wide, 9,000 tons displacement, and 88,000 shaft horsepower with twin screws.
