After purchasing and mounting my new S&B Summit, I headed to the range. It took my pea brain a minute to figure out that the windage and elevation adjustment markings on the turrets were wrong. Mine indicated that U = Clockwise. Same bass ackwardness on the windage. I got sighted in o.k., but contacted S&B for an explanation. The 2FP Summits are different from their other scopes, and are suppose to be marked counterclockwise for U. Seems they put the wrong stickers on the turrets! Ain't that grand. I'm trying to get the proper stickers...we'll see how they treat me. Anyway, FWIW, if anybody gets a S&B Summit, check your turrets! LOL. Loco

UPDATE: The S&B rep contacted me and they are going to send me the correct stickers.

UPDATE #2. The stickers came in and took about 1 minute to install. I'm good to go now. I was surprised (somewhat) that nobody with S&B ever even apologized for their minor screw-up. Sure, it's no big deal, but when you spend that kind of coin you would think they would go the extra mile. Guess my logic continues to be flawed. Anyway, all is well that ends well. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

Doesn't that make it a collectors' item?

I see a misalignment on her turrets that needs checking... I'll volunteer my time to do so.  Yippee

Seeing that I'm now an expert turret checker, I'll take the lead on checking hers. Big Grin

At least the S&B turrets never sag over time.

Loss of ability to return to zero could be compared to "sagging"...
